Purses, Handbags and Wallets, Oh My!

Don’t you love it when you find just the right purse? Here are the things I look for in a purse: *Comfortable to carry *Easy to organize all my things in *Looks pretty/cute/stylish *Sturdy and easy to keep clean *Not too large and not too small *Isn’t crazy expensive I’m not one to have to have a certain brand name in my purse. I would rather have more purses to choose from than one very expensive purse. I’ve bought purses at expensive stores all the way down to the very inexpensive retail stores. I spotted a purse at Dillards…

An Angel for Bloggers?

If it were possible to have an angel for bloggers, Merri Dennis, would be that angel! I met Merri last summer at the Declare Bloggers Conference. We happened to be sitting at the same table and I notice that she was very proficient in the computer lingo. It was language that I don’t understand very well, even though I’ve been blogging for 9 years. A dear friend of mine, Rhodema Cargill who met Merri at the same time I did, shared with me how she had called her to ask her a couple of questions and how helpful she was….

Many years ago as a young homeschooling mom, I became aware of this organization and I volunteered as much time as I had to give in counseling young girls in their decision with their pregnancies. My favorite thing to encourage was abstinence. So many young girls have never been taught that concept. It was very fulfilling to visit with a girl and hear her say that she would remain abstinent until marriage. As time went…

Happy Valentine’s Day! If you want to know what true love is, this is your answer! Needing a heart check up? This will be a great guide! “Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails…” I Corinthians 13:4-8a NKJV *I like how the New International Version words this…
A Bloggers Mission Statement

I have so many interests and so many things that I’m anxious to share with you, that I have to hone it all in and focus. Focus on who I am and what I really have to offer in the way of sharing the things that I believe God has set before me. I’m learning everyday. Even at the age of 56, I’m still learning. I can look back on my marriage, my child raising days, my service to the Lord in His church and just plain every day living and think, how did I make it this far! I…
