
Sewing Fever

While Jim and I were shopping in Dallas last weekend, I spotted a sewing store and went in just to look around. A little bit later I walked out with the cutest sewing machine. The machine I’ve been sewing on is now 25 years old. It is a Kenmore and has been a good one, but I was really wanting a more updated one. I’ve had the sewing fever for several months now, but haven’t been motivated to drag out my old machine. I think Jim was more excited than I was. He has already given me something to alter….
28 Years?

It doesn’t seem possible; Jim and I will celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary. How thankful I am for such a wonderful husband. He loves and serves the Lord, he is the neatest Dad, he loves his kids and would do anything for them, what a fun Papa he is, he loves those grandbabies, and the most amazing thing is… he loves me! I’m a blessed person. Jim, I love you and am so thankful for you! Happy Anniversary
Spring Conference

Donna Partow will be the guest speaker at our 4th Annual Spring Women’s Conference at Kelview Heights Baptist Church on March 1st. Donna is a bestselling author and Christian Communicator. The theme of the conference is “Let Your Life Count.” We will be encouraged to let our lives count for Christ as we realize that He has a plan and purpose for our lives and we can make a difference right where we are today. The Challenge

I accepted Nate’s challenge. He has always wanted me to grow my hair long. He challenged me at Christmas to go for it. I accepted and we will see what happens. I had long hair when I was a teen and then got it cut short soon after Jim and I married. I have kept it short since then. Hope it works….
Patti’s Guest Room

I have more to do on these rooms as well. It’s hard for me to find everything that will work all at once. Our shopping is sort of slim in our area. 🙂
Nate’s Guest Room

I’m still working on our two guest rooms and baths. I will be on the search for needed items to complete the rooms on our next trip to Dallas and Oklahoma City.
