Things Are Happening Fast!

One of my favorite scriptures is “Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth.” I memorized that verse when I was young and it is so true, we don’t know what tomorrow may bring. That is why I try to live each day to the fullest and not spend my time worrying about tomorrow or yesterday. Although, that is easier said than done.

All that to say is, we are packing this week. We sold our house to our daughter and her husband and those two cutie pies (and one on the way). Rodrick will be working with Jim and my brother Burt in our family business. We are so excited. Patti and Rodrick came down from Oklahoma to find a new home. The selection wasn’t too good and we teased for a few days about them buying our house. After not being able to find just the right home, we got serious and long story short, they bought our house. So, Jim and I went looking for ourselves and didn’t find just what we wanted and we decided to build. We have already picked our lot and house plans and now the wait. Our things are going in storage and we will live at my mom’s home for the next few months. She has a three bedroom house that hopefully we won’t intrude too much. 🙂 This should be an adventure and fun at the same time. I’m so excited about having the kids closer.

At the beginning of every year I always say “I can’t wait to see what God has in store for us this year.” This is just February and how He has blessed so much already.

All of this and planning for our ladies conference. I am keeping my sanity……so far. 🙂
