Exciting News!

I was part of a collaborative book that was just published this week with Hope*Books and I’m excited to share the news with you!

I’ve been writing for a long time on my blog, newsletters and magazine articles. I have several book ideas started and a few on my to do list. Fear has always stopped me from following through to the actual book writing. This collaboration was a jump start for me and what an encouragement it is for me to see my story actually published. The chapter I wrote was from something that I witnessed one evening and I tied it into part of my life story.

I have to admit it is really a bit scary when you share your thoughts and pieces of your story for the world to read. All those thoughts of self doubt and fear pop up along with some things that have been said over the years. Those words will play a big part in the self doubt area. A few years ago, someone told me, “you should just give up on your idea of writing a book someday.” At the time I laughed it off, but each time I pick up my pen or open my laptop, I hear those words.

If you are like me and you feel like the Lord wants you to share through your writing to only encourage and inspire others, then don’t let anything or anyone stop you.

Also, if you are like me and you love to read, I’ll share the info of where to find this book that I am honored to have my story published in. Chapter 3 is where you will find me and I pray that it makes a difference in someone’s life in a special way.
