What Is Your Fashion Style?

Have you ever had someone say to you, “I saw something while shopping that looked just like you!” We all have a certain style that we gravitate towards. Some of us may not really know for sure what we like; we just buy whatever we need at the moment and choose by price or a color that you are attracted to without giving any thought if it really shows your true style.

Today, I wanted to share with you the 4 Fashion Styles and you can pick the one that sounds the most like you. You might want to take thought in your lifestyle as well. I always think of the old show from the 60’s called, Green Acres. I can’t even remember her name, but the wife of the farmer loved her life in a penthouse in NYC. When she and her husband decided to move to a farm in the middle of nowhere she continued to wear her fancy clothes while working around the farm. Such as a robe with feathers and high heeled shoes. As a young girl, I would watch that show mostly to see her clothes. The show drove me nuts as the house was a nightmare and nothing made sense in how they lived while trying to live off of the land. Pure and Natural

If you are a Pure and Natural, you love fabrics such as cotton, silk and linen. You want your wardrobe to reflect the casual lifestyle you live and the environment and earth that you love so much. You feel best in clothes that are loose, soft and have an easy comfortable feel. Your natural style is a breath of fresh air.

There are many stores that cater to your style, but a few are Old Navy, Target, Gap, J. Crew, J. Jill, and Athleta.

Classic Modern

A Classic Modern has lot’s of basics in her wardrobe. You love wearing traditional pieces of clothing and accessories that always have you looking polished and put together. You might add one unusual pieces, such as a big ring, or a Kate Spade bag, but you like to stay understated and chic. You always look sophisticated in a soft, elegant way.

A few stores of the many that you can find your style would be New York and Company, Chico’s, Talbots, Ann Taylor, Jones of New York and Banana Republic.

You have a style all your own! You can put outfits together that some would never even consider trying and you look wonderful! You are a girl who can find a unique jacket that is colorful and bright and put with an artsy skirt you have in your closet. You like to wear things that are fun, different and bold. Others usually comment on your one of a kind jewelry and handbags.

You have fun shopping anywhere as you can put so many pieces together and it looks great. Boutiques, Vintage Shops, Francesca’s, Johnny Was, Lucky Brand, Madewell and LulaRoe are a few places you may find pieces you love.

You aren’t afraid to wear the latest trends. You have no trouble finding pieces that work with items you already own. You can shop in pretty much any store and find something that looks fabulous on you. You stand out in a crowd because you know what to wear, how to wear it and how to accessorize it. You can make a trend look like it’s always been in style.

A few stores that you might be attracted to are, Nordstrom Rack, TJ Max, Target, White House Black Market, Vince Camuto, Kate Spade, CAbi and Nordstroms.

Which one seemed to describe you the best? Once you pin down your personal fashion style, it will make it so much more easier to shop and design your closet. The important thing is to enjoy and have fun with your fashion. You have to get dressed every day anyway so you might as well enjoy the process. Love being you as only you can be! So, the next time you hear someone say, “this looks just like you!” Take it as a compliment because you have your style down and people have noticed!
