His Heart, My Desire

Loving Llfe While Striving For A Heart Like His

Our New Home

We are all moved in and have been working to make our new house our home for the past couple of months. I’ve had lot’s of requests for pictures, so here we go. I will start taking more as I get each room decorated. I love decorating ideas, so if you have any, send them my way. My first concern is the front. You probably can’t tell, but the porch area is really large behind the iron fencing, but I don’t want it to look cluttered, maybe some large pots with plants. I’m not sure about furniture. In West Texas, the dirt blows horribly, especially our area, since so much new construction is going on and we are on the edge of our city. I put my three little trees at the door area and decorated for fall, we have already chased the bows down the street. Jim finally tied the bows to the door, which doesn’t look too good. I think I may take them down, I’m not sure. I do like the fall wreaths on the door though.

This is the left side of the house. Through the gate is a breakfast patio that I have big plans for in the Spring.

This is a night view of the front porch. I’m sure you figured that out though. 🙂

This is our front porch. We haven’t decided how to actually decorate the porch yet. I don’t want a lot of things on the porch, but some large pots might be fun. Ideas anyone?

This is a view of the right side of the house. We just had our trees planted, so they have stakes on them to hold them down. Which is a good thing, we just had a windy day and I’m almost sure they would have blown over if they didn’t have those stakes. 🙂
