Live Well Wednesday

I went out shopping today and tried on a few things. I could tell a difference in how things were fitting, but I’m not ready yet to buy anything. I’m waiting to really drop a size or two before I buy new jeans or some other things that I’ve been eyeing.

The picture you see is a belt by Brighton. I LOVE this belt! I have said at the beginning of trying to lose these extra pounds that this belt will be my reward to myself when I get to my goal. I sure hope they don’t discontinue it before I get there.

  1. Oh, no kidding! I’m always a little worried about that kind of thing, too! Maybe you’ll have to reward yourself for progress and buy it now. Just buy it a size or two smaller, so you still can’t actually use it until you reach another milestone.

Sorry, maybe I’m being a bad influence!!! I’d just hate for you to not get the reward you’re working so hard for just because of a retailer or supplier’s decision!

I know what you mean about not wanting to buy anything just yet though. I bought myself a brand new pair of jeans at the end of March, but they’re already almost too big, even with a belt. They’re the best jeans I’ve had in a long time and it bugs me a little that I won’t be able to wear them much longer! I’m down one size and I have a few clothes from the last time I dropped some weight, so I’m holding off on buying anything new until I’ve dropped another size, too.

Hopefully, a shopping spree is in the very near future for both of us!!

  2. Woo hoo! Yay! You’re seeing results! I’m so proud of you!

I know how tough it is to lose weight, and I want you to know that you’re not alone.

I have a few more pounds ( about 4 sizes) to go, but I haven’t decided what I want as a reward. Hmmm….

  3. Hi Beverly!

I lost you there for awhile, but I just saw your post over at Shortybear’s and thought I’d hop on over.

Stay motivated with your weight loss challenge.

Have a peace filled 4th weekend.
