Christmas at Disney World
We just returned from a week at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. This was our Christmas gift to our kiddos. What a great time we had! We all flew out of Oklahoma City together. The weather was icy and cold. Our plane had to be de-iced. April called it sprinkling pixie dust on the plane so we could take off. When we landed in Orlando it was partly cloudy and in the 70’s. It was perfect. Each park was decorated so beautiful with Christmas trees, wreaths and lights. The crowds are supposedly the lowest at this time of year. It was still pretty crowded, but we probably didn’t wait more than 20 minutes for most rides. Some rides, we were able to just walk on. Of course, Peter Pan’s Flight was the most popular and it had an hour wait. We skipped it much to April’s dismay. (and Mimi’s)
April is four and was able to get on most of the big rides. She laughed and laughed and held her hands in the air on the roller coasters. Oliver slept a lot in his stroller. He loved strolling around the parks.
If you ever get a chance to go to DW at Christmas time, I would highly recommend it. So festive and fun! We stayed at the Grand Floridian and it was wonderful. It is decorated victorian style and everything is beautiful.
