His Heart, My Desire

Loving Llfe While Striving For A Heart Like His

Branson, Missouri Trip

Last Thursday morning Mom and I left for Oklahoma City to pick up my friend, Jenny Broughton. When we arrived, her husband Sam made a delicious Spaghetti dinner for us. Then mom and I headed to Edmond to stay at the Two Hearts Inn Bed and Breakfast. If you ever go through Oklahoma City, you must stay at the Inn. Check it out at www.twoheartsinn.com You will love it. It is the most beautiful place. It is decorated beautifully and the breakfast that was served in our suite was unbelievable! Words can’t describe. You must go to the website and think of a way to get there and experience it yourself. You will love Larry and Tammy. Hospitality is their gift. And, tell them Beverly sent you, they are the parents of our handsome son-in-law. 🙂
Friday morning, we picked Jenny up and headed to a retreat camp outside of Branson to drop Jenny off. She was the key-note speaker for a women’s retreat. Mom and I then headed to Branson and checked into our hotel and went to dinner and a show called “Legends.” It was hilarious. They had people that imitated various singers, The Temptations, Marilyn Monroe, The Blues Brothers, Gretchen Wilson and of course, Elvis! We laughed so much that evening. We also had good seats. Third row, right in the middle! Our hotel was beautiful. I would recommend the Chateau on the Lake! More details tomorrow.
The picture of the room is the actual room we stayed in at the Two Hearts Inn. The picture of the farm is an Amish Farm I drove past on the way to the camp. Notice the Amish clothes hanging on the line. They had an organic farm that was beautiful! The other pictures are of the view outside my room at the hotel and of course Elvis. I didn’t know he was still alive. I thought that was a rumor. 🙂
